US Influencer’s 24-Hour Trip To India Solely To Visit Taj Mahal Stuns Internet
A US influencer’s 24-hour trip from New York to India solely to visit the Taj Mahal has gone viral. The whirlwind journey to Agra and back sparked widespread reactions online, showcasing the monument’s global appeal while igniting debate over extreme short-duration travel.
In the video, Droniak shows himself boarding the flight from New York, landing in India, and heading straight to Agra to see the Taj Mahal in the morning. The video then shows him walking around and spending time at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, taking photos and exploring the monument. According to his post, the trip was planned with a single intention — to see the Taj Mahal in person — before immediately heading back.
After visiting the monument, the influencer went on to explore Agra city. He took a tuktuk and went out for breakfast. His meal consisted of Butter Chicken, Dal Fry, Garlic Naan and Biryani, which he had with a view of the Taj Mahal. The influencer then explored the streets of Agra, admitting that he “doesn't know” where he was but was enjoying it.
Droniak then visited the mausoleum Itmad-ud-Daula, also known as Baby Taj. He later took a cab to Delhi airport to catch his flight back to the United States. The entire trip, including travel time, sightseeing, and return, was completed in roughly one day.
The Taj Mahal remains one of the most visited landmarks in the world and regularly attracts international tourists. The video quickly went viral and shocked the internet at the influencer's enthusiasm.
Users reacted strongly online. One user wrote, “Day trip to India IS WILD.” Another commented, “This has to be the coolest video yet. Seriously so beautifully done. Love how you highlight the vibe of each location!” A third user asked, “How do you sleep on the plane and handle the jet lag? Incredible!” Another expressed, “This is getting too insane but impressive,” while one user stated, “I'm all for a day trip but I think I'd need minimum a week in India.” Several users also criticised the user's impromptu plan, stating it is better to take a vacation than taking a one-day trip.
The video has underscored the global appeal of the Taj Mahal while sparking debate over extreme short-duration travel, highlighting both admiration and criticism from audiences worldwide.
